0012030: See bug 0007416, not fixed for tWriteXMLField....

The same behaviour as described in 0007416 appears in tWriteXMLField, that is, that when you try to "set a fix value" (btw, fix that engrish, please) for a namespace, the xmlns attribute disappears from the result. It works fine if the xmlns attribute is mapped to a schema column, though.

0012009: Picture corrupt when inserted into image column in SQL Server database

I am trying to inssert .jpg pictures into a SQL Server 2008 database. The table has the column defined as image. I am using SQL Server authentication for the connection.

I am reading the picture in as a single string and passing it to the image field in a tMap.
This appears to work until I try to retrieve the data. The returned data appears to have all the bytes in the range x80 - x9f replaced with x3f. I have confirmed that this is how the data appears on the database.
I am using encoding ISO8859-15.
If I read the picture and output it to a file, the result is correct.

0011929: tFileDelete fails (directory delete Mode)

I am migrating jobs from 2.4 to 3.2.3 - The component tFileDelete is not working as expected. From 10 Files in a directory, one is treated as a directory, although it's not. This file then causes a Null Pointer Exception.
The directory is a temporary working directory created by the job at the beginning, using files as temp storage and cleaning it at the end. It is fully under control of Talend and not used by any other process.
The directory is not deleted, the job is aborted.

0012016: tLADInput does not compile when using byte array type

When reading a byte array with tLDAPInput (for instance a GUID), the generated code does not compile.

The expected result is that we should be able to read byte for byte what is present in LDAP.

Do not hesitate if something is not clear.

0012028: Filter by user does not hide folders

When selecting the "filter by user" option, it does hide the items but the folders are still displayed making impossible to clearly view what are the remaining items.

0012027: Cannot select job in Compare Result view

If opening directly the Job Result view from Window --> Show View --> Talend, you can't select any job, the drop-down lists are empty

0012026: Compare Result view cannot retrieve properly jobs name containing an underscore

If jod name contains an underscore, the job name is truncated in the Compare Result view. See screenshot

0012013: Request from Statistics view to Administrator server side are done despite no Statistics view is visible/opened

0012029: Notification, Error not logged

if in smtp configuration, we let password null, and an anonym login (no-reply) for example, we have an error (see trace bellow)
the problem is that the true error (MessagingException) is not logged
could you have a look ? assure that the trace of MessagingException is logged somewhere

by the way, could you assure that smtp login & password in config are optionnal. i mean that if the smtp server allows anonymous mail, our application should too.

0011258: Show svn revision in JobConductor grid

- the column which will contain this information will be hidden by default.
- this information will be visible in the right info panel without restriction, just below "Last generation date".
- we will call this field "SVN revision" with the tooltip "Previously generated at SVN revision", and the internal variable will be "generatedSvnRevision".
- used type will be a "Long"

0011201: Handle different queries for different versions of a database

For example, Oracle 9i does not offer a "median" function, but this function exists in Oracle 10g.

TODO:
1. Add a text field to set the version of the database in indicator definition editor
2. given this version field, select the appropriate query to execute on the database.

Remove "has valid domain" information for pattern indicator in column analysis editor.

indicate number of analysis on "Analyses" folder under data profiling and also number of reports under "reports" folder

0011575: Do not delete resources when a dependency exists

When at least one dependency exists, forbid the user to delete a resource.
Adapt the pop-up window to this situation. See screen capture.

0011585: Do not ask the user to save when closing an SQL editor

Most often, we don't need to save the generated SQL queries. Do not ask the user to save the editor when it is closed. Simply close it.

0012022: Incoherent generated date pattern in column analysis

Generated date pattern on a timestamp column is "yyyy MM dd HH:mm:ss". But when we generate a regular pattern from the result, there is no match.

0012025: Use the Process description instead of the '#' suffix in the run process drop-down list.

We now have "runnable" processes that will be displayed in the record edit. The names in the list currently use the '#' prefix. Use the process' description instead.
The description may be set in multiple languages with the usual '[EN:english][FR:french]' etc. notation. Make sure you pick up the right one based on the language currently set up in the web app.

0012024: Make Process descriptions multilingual.

In the Process page, add the same '...' button next to the description like in others objects, and let the user set the description in multiple languages. This description will be picked up by the web app for "runnable" processes.

0012023: Generate purpose field when creating a pattern from data pattern frequency indicator

The purpose field of the generated pattern must be filled in with the key of PatternsNameAndRegularExpressions.txt.
for example:
purpose: match "yyyy MM dd HH:mm:ss:SSS"

0011958: Building with tLibraryLoad Command Line

Basically the issue is this:

- I create a simple job with a tLibraryLoad and a tJava
- In the tJava I execute a library call from the library I loaded

This job works correctly on my box and places the loaded library into %TIS_HOME%\lib\java as it is supposed to.

The problem I run into is:

- If another developer opens up my project they cannot run the job b/c the library cannot be found
- If I try to use the command line utlity to build my project
Steps:
* Connect to remote server
* Logon to project
* exportJob
Then the exported job does not contain the needed library

This is a HUGE problem as it will not allow us to have an automated way of using any other libraries in our jobs.

What we need from talend is:
- Directions on how to do this correctly if we are not currently doing so
- If it is a bug, then we need:
* A workaround
* A fix
