create global variable

I have a job in which i create a variable.
I am creating the same kind of variable in all the mappings i have.
So,i just want to create this variable once and let it be available to all the jobs .
How can i achieve this ?

Re: create global variable

Hi Vital,

Does your process consist of a higher level job (that loads the variable) that calls other jobs?  If so, you can set up a context variable at the higher level job
and then pass that context variable to all of the called sub-jobs.  The called sub-jobs will also need to have that context variable defined on their context
tab.  Also be sure to select the 'Transmit whole context' option on the component tab.

Once you have done the above steps, the sub-jobs just need to reference the variable in the form of context.YourVariableName.

Hope the above helps.  If you need clarification or additional details just let me know.
